FUNDRAISING

Much of our work is only possible because of donations or people fundraising. The money we make through fundraising helps pay for our Para-Sports Club and Festive Friends projects.

Organise your own event

Supporters have raised thousands of pounds for Dundee United Community Trust by hosting a range of different events and fundraising activities. Whether you know what you want to organise or need some inspiration we are here to help every step of the way.  No matter what kind of activity you decide to take on, every single pound raised will help us make a difference to the lives of people in Dundee and the surrounding areas. For more information, please e-mail enquiries@dundeeunitedct.co.uk.

Take part in a fundraising challenge

Always fancied completing the Kiltwalk? Like the idea of cycling from Dundee to Hampden Park? Challenges don’t have to be marathon walks or 85-mile bike rides. You could shave your head, stay silent for an entire day, or give up social media for a week – basically, anything you could convince people to sponsor you for. If you would like to register for an event, or to find out what places we have available, email enquiries@dundeeunitedct.co.uk.

Fundraise at work

There are many ways in which you can fundraise for us at your work. You could encourage colleagues to wear a football shirt to work on a certain day in return for a donation; bake cakes and sell slices to work friends; or recruit co-workers to take up a team challenge, like taking part in a quiz night.

One of the best ways you can help us at work is by encouraging your company to select us as their charity of the year. We have an information pack available to anyone who would like to nominate us as their charity of the year which tells you and your co-workers all about the work we do in Dundee and the surrounding areas and how your support would help the charity. There is also a range of ways we can help businesses that make us their chosen charity, including providing health MOTs to staff. For more information, please e-mail enquiries@dundeeunitedct.co.uk.
