LEARNING DISABILITY FOOTBALL CLUB
Ages: 5 years - 17 years
Learning Disability Football Club is a fun football programme and the perfect opportunity for children and young people living with a learning disability to play football in a safe environment with their peers.
Our team of coaches are vastly experienced in working with people who have a variety of disabilities and additional support needs, and this helps create the perfect setting for players to take part in weekly football sessions that support the growth of each participant's confidence and football ability, whilst they are making new friends too.
Dundee United Para-Sports Club is dedicated to providing opportunities for people living with a disability to take part in group sports sessions with their peers in a supportive environment where everyone can thrive. We cannot provide one-to-one coaching, one-to-one supervision, or personal care at these sessions, however, we invite parents/guardians to stay during our sessions to provide this support to their child if required.
Our group coaching sessions are split into age-appropriate groups. Each session is tailored to the specific needs of the age group, ensuring that participants receive the appropriate level of challenge and support. The two age groups are:
Ages 5-12 | Primary School
Ages 12-17 | Secondary School
