NEW BEECHWOOD PARK

In April 2022, Dundee United Community Trust took on the responsibility for the operation and further development of New Beechwood Park, on Lundie Avenue, as part of an exciting new partnership with Lochee Harp FC.  The site includes a recently installed 3G pitch, portable changing facilities and floodlights, and provides a fantastic new base for our work as well as a modern home for Lochee Harp.  There are exciting plans to further develop the site, which will be announced due course.

The pitch is available for hire for training and matches by visiting our online booking system.

FOUNDATION PARK

Situated across from Tannadice Park, Foundation Park recently went through extensive renovation work that saw the installation of a brand-new FIFA Quality Pro synthetic pitch, installation of UEFA-approved floodlights, installation of new perimeter fencing and barriers to separate the side of the pitch from the extended spectator area and redecoration of the changing pavilion.

Since the Trust relaunched in 2017, it has benefited from significant access to Gussie Park as agreed in partnership with Dundee United Football Club, and having supported the Football Club with these upgrades by way of accessing a £100,000 grant from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport with support from the Scottish FA. Now operational again after the renovations, the Trust are excited to utilise its daily access to the facility to improve the lives of people in our community.
