2021 GIRLS ACADEMY AWARDS NIGHT
The annual awards night for Girls Academy took place at Tannadice Park on Friday 4 February, with players and their families taking part in an enjoyable celebration of the girls’ game.
The past year has saw Girls Academy continue to go from strength to strength, and it now proudly provides a platform for over 100 girls to play football.
Taking place in the Airlie Green Suite at Tannadice Park, the evening saw two events take place for the children’s section of Girls Academy and the youths’ section of Girls Academy. Each player received a commemorative plaque to recognise their efforts during 2021, whilst the U11s-U17s age groups also selected a Player of the Year (as chosen by the teams’ coaches), a Players Player of the Year (as chosen by the teams’ players) and a Most Improved Player (also chosen by the team’s coaches).
