Dundee United Community Trust holds an active and accepted Flexible Framework Agreement for Education & Social Services with Dundee City Council.

Our Early Years Intro to Football programme is a fantastic way for nurseries to introduce pupils to football and external delivery providers, either at the school or at a facility Dundee United Community Trust has access to.

Two of our PVG-checked and Scottish FA qualified coaches, who have experience working with children aged 18 months to 5 years, will lead every session throughout the agreed block.

Children will be taken on a journey exploring a variety of themes, such as driving the car, visiting the zoo and going to space, that will support with:

IMPROVING BASIC MOTOR SKILLS
eg balance, coordination, reactions & reflexes

DEVELOPING FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENTS
eg catching, jumping, kicking, running & throwing

PROMOTING KEY SOCIAL SKILLS
eg communication, confidence, listening & sharing

Terry the Terror, Dundee United FC’s mascot, will also visit the programme at least once per block.
