DUNDEE UNITED DYNAMOS
Delivered in partnership with Tayside Dynamos, Dundee United Dynamos provides wheelchair users of any age with the chance to take part in powerchair football with people of a similar skill level to them. Between both Tayside Dynamos and Dundee United Dynamos, we have three levels of to our pathway:
🟠⚫ Beginner Session - an entry level session that anyone can take part in, regardless of their skill level.
🟠⚫ Dundee United Dynamos - for those keen to progress into playing as part of a team in the Championship league, the second tier of powerchair football in Scotland.
🔵🟡 Tayside Dynamos - for those with the ability to play in the Premiership, the top league of powerchair football in Scotland.
What is powerchair football?
Powerchair football is a unique sport that gives people with a high level of impairment to access the game of football.
Our sessions are suitable for …
✅ Any wheelchair user, either electric or manual, regardless of whether they have played the game before.

Joining Dundee United Dynamos has given us as a family a much more positive outlook and Wil’s happiness since joining is a brilliant thing to see. He had a huge void not being able to play rugby in which he excelled, and it was difficult for him to come to terms with how his life had changed. We were struggling to even talk about sport of any kind with Wil but now he can’t wait for training sessions and thrives each week after attending. He feels part of a team enjoying the social interaction which he was missing since his accident.
