COMMUNITY FOOTBALL COACH
Are you passionate about football, a strong communicator and patient & empathetic?
Then join us as a Community Football Coach!
We have opportunities for people to join us as volunteer Community Football Coaches to enhance the opportunities available for children, young people, and adults to play our national sport.
You will support the delivery of high-quality coaching sessions that enable individuals of all footballing abilities to enjoy themselves, feel included and thrive, whilst building their love for football. Through the delivery, you will support and nurture a safe and friendly environment for those taking part.
Don’t worry if you’ve never coached before - you’ll be working alongside some of the best Community Football Coaches in the country who will lead the sessions and support you throughout to ensure you can develop and build your confidence as a football coach.

2: MEET WITH ONE OF OUR STAFF
One of our staff will then be in touch to arrange a meeting with you to discuss the opportunities we have available and your suitability for the role.
3: COMPLETE NECESSARY PAPERWORK
This role is a regulated role so, in addition to personal and emergency details, all volunteers will be required to complete a PVG Scotland check with Dundee United Community before commencing their role.
4: GETTING STARTED
Assuming your PVG is suitably returned, we will provide you with coaching clothing, introduce you to our team and then be able to get you on the football pitch.
5: TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
All Community Football Coaches will have access to our CPD events and we will provide financial and mentoring support through appropriate Scottish FA coach education courses.
