Then join us as a Football Team Coach!

We have opportunities for people to join as volunteer Football Team Coaches to lead and assist our:

GIRLS TEAMS
Our girls teams (U8-U16) play various formats of the game on Saturday mornings depending on their age and train twice per week at New Beechwood Park.

AUTISM TEAMS
Our autism teams compete in the regional league, with festival-style 7-a-side matches taking place monthly and weekly training on Fridays from 5-6pm.

MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING TEAM
Our mental health & wellbeing team compete in the national league, with festival-style 7-a-side matches taking place monthly throughout the country, with training sessions on Mondays and Thursdays.

You will support the delivery of high-quality coaching sessions that enable individuals of all footballing abilities to enjoy themselves, feel included and thrive, whilst building their love for football. Through the delivery, you will support and nurture a safe and friendly environment for those taking part.

2: MEET WITH ONE OF OUR STAFF
One of our staff will then be in touch to arrange a meeting with you to discuss the opportunities we have available and your suitability for the role.

3: COMPLETE NECESSARY PAPERWORK
This role is a regulated role so, in addition to personal and emergency details, all volunteers will be required to complete a PVG Scotland check with Dundee United Community before commencing their role.

4: GETTING STARTED
Assuming your PVG is suitably returned, we will provide you with coaching clothing, introduce you to our team and then be able to get you on the football pitch.

5: TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
All Team Football Coaches will have access to our CPD events and we will provide financial and mentoring support through appropriate Scottish FA coach education courses.
